About Ban Yang Subdistrict
Ban Yang (บ้านยาง) is a subdistrict of Khiri Rat Nikhom District, Surat Thani. The local authority describes higher and lower plains alongside Khlong Yan, with rubber, fruit, vegetables, oil palm and some rice cultivation.
Khlong Yan crosses several villages, while the Phum Duang River runs along part of the southern side. Small hills form local landmarks, including Khao Thalu, Khao Wong and the Tham Ruesi area.
