1. Agreement and scope
Once these Terms have an effective date, they will govern access to and use of Thailand Navigator, including destination information, guides, directory listings, maps, saved content, trip-planning tools, accounts, contact and suggestion features, and community services. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use interactive features.
Legal contracting partyThe operator’s full legal identity and contact details must be inserted during legal review. This working draft is not yet a binding agreement.
2. Eligibility and account responsibilities
You may create only an account you are legally capable of holding under the law that applies to you. The minimum age, any parental-consent route and any restricted locations remain launch decisions for legal review.

Use the service only if you have legal capacity and are not prohibited from doing so.
Accurate details
Provide a current email address and accurate account information.
Protect your account
Keep credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect compromise. Never send us your password.
Responsible activity
You are responsible for activity through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Any one-person/one-account rule, identity-verification requirement and treatment of dormant accounts must be confirmed before launch.
3. Acceptable use
Use Thailand Navigator lawfully, respectfully and in a way that does not harm people, data, systems or the usefulness of the service.
Allowed examples
- Use information for personal planning and lawful research
- Contribute genuine questions, experiences and corrections
- Save content and create legitimate trip plans
- Interact respectfully with other users
- Link to public pages without implying endorsement
Prohibited examples
- Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory or harmful activity
- Spam, unauthorised scraping, excessive automated access or service disruption
- Impersonation, false affiliation or misleading identity claims
- Malware, malicious files, security attacks or access circumvention
- Harassment, threats, privacy invasion or exploitation
- Manipulating votes, rankings, reviews or verification status
- Publishing personal data without a lawful basis
- Automated use without written permission
Enforcement should be proportionate, consistent and documented, subject to urgent action where needed to protect people or systems.
4. Community rules
Community features are for helpful, respectful and trustworthy conversations. Posts and replies may be reported, reviewed, hidden, locked or removed under the published moderation approach.
Be respectful
Treat other people with courtesy and avoid harassment or hostility.
Provide context
Share relevant first-hand experience and identify important limitations where possible.
Separate fact and opinion
Make clear when you are sharing a personal experience rather than stating a verified fact.
Disclose affiliations
Disclose business, employment, family or commercial relationships relevant to a contribution.
Do not post dangerous, discriminatory, defamatory or privacy-invasive materialReporting does not guarantee removal. Moderation decisions may consider context, evidence, safety, legal duties and the rights of everyone involved.
5. User-submitted content
You keep ownership of original content you submit. To make the service work, you grant the operator a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, technically distribute and moderate that content only for operating, securing and providing Thailand Navigator.

Your responsibilities
- You have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content
- Your factual claims are accurate to the best of your knowledge
- The content does not unlawfully copy or misuse another person’s work, image or personal information
- You understand that public posts may be visible, searchable and quoted by other users
Licence review requiredCounsel must confirm the exact licence scope, moral-rights treatment, backup period, sublicensing language and deletion effects for the final operator and jurisdictions.
6. Intellectual property
Thailand Navigator’s branding, interface, software, original editorial material and site design are owned by or licensed to the operator. Except where law permits, you may not copy a substantial part of the service, republish content commercially, remove rights notices, reverse engineer protected components, or present Thailand Navigator material as your own. Third-party names, images, maps and content remain the property of their respective owners.
7. Directory and business listings
Directory entries are informational. A listing, claim status, enhancement or verification label is not an endorsement, guarantee, licence check or promise of quality.
Listing standards
- Identify the real organisation and authorised representative
- Keep names, categories, contact details and locations accurate
- Disclose affiliations, commercial interests and material restrictions
- Provide evidence when verification or correction reasonably requires it
- Do not manipulate rankings, reviews, reports or verification signals
Independent editorial controlBusinesses may suggest corrections but cannot control independent editorial content. Paid enhancements never purchase a recommendation, ranking, review, favourable verification outcome or removal of accurate criticism.
We may refuse, correct, label, suspend or remove a listing that is inaccurate, deceptive, unsafe, unlawful, unverifiable or inconsistent with published standards.
8. Sponsored, partner and affiliate content
Thailand Navigator may display clearly identified sponsored content, partner content and, if introduced, links that can earn a commission. Commercial relationships do not override editorial standards, factual review, directory usefulness, verification status or organic ranking.

Thailand Navigator provides general information and planning tools, not professional advice. Information can change, contain errors or be incomplete. Check current requirements with an appropriate official source or qualified professional before acting.

Conditions, rules, closures and risks change. Check current official travel and safety advice.

General information only; not immigration advice. Verify with the relevant authority.
Medical and health
Not medical diagnosis or treatment advice. Seek qualified medical care.

10. Third-party services and links
The service may link to external websites, map providers, email services, security services and listed businesses. Those third parties control their own services, availability, terms and privacy practices. A link or listing does not mean that Thailand Navigator endorses, controls or guarantees the third party. Review the third party’s information before sharing data or entering a transaction.
11. Suspension and termination
We may warn, restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably justified—for example, for a material or repeated breach, fraud, unlawful use, a security threat, serious harm to others or a binding legal requirement. Urgent risks may require immediate action.

12. Liability

14. Changes to these Terms
After the Terms take effect, they may be updated to reflect service, legal or operational changes. Material changes should receive a new effective date and reasonable notice before they apply, except where an urgent legal or security change requires faster action. Changes should not retroactively remove accrued mandatory rights.
