About Bang Nam Chuet Subdistrict
Bang Nam Chuet (บางน้ำจืด) is a subdistrict in Lang Suan District, Chumphon. Its geography includes coastal plains, higher ground and low-lying areas along the Gulf of Thailand.
The administrative area includes Ko Phithak as well as mainland communities. The local plan places the coastline between the Pak Tako area to the north and Pak Nam Lang Suan to the south.
Agricultural land supports oil palm, coconut, rubber and fruit crops including mangosteen, durian and rambutan. The island community and the mainland therefore offer different settings within one tambon. A specific village or island destination is needed for travel planning; the administrative reference point does not establish a boat departure or public access point.
