About Hua Toei Subdistrict
Hua Toei (หัวเตย) is a subdistrict of Phunphin District, Surat Thani. The land-use plan records seven villages, including Hua Ko, Hua Toei Bon, Hua Suan, Don Rak, Trok Nong, Hua Toei Lang and Don Ri.
Its historical settlement pattern follows canals through relatively level lowland. A local naming tradition links Hua Toei with the pandanus plants growing along the waterways.
