About Khao Mi Kiat Subdistrict
Khao Mi Kiat (เขามีเกียรติ) is a subdistrict of Sadao District in Songkhla. The local authority records its separation from Phang La in 1988 and identifies five villages, including Ban Khao Mi Kiat in Village 5.
Its landscape combines low ground, foothills and higher mountains, with land used for rubber and fruit growing. The Department of Mineral Resources identifies an important conglomerate-rock reference section near Wat Khao Mi Kiat, approached from the Khlong Ngae–Na Thawi road. This is a particular geological site within a wider tambon, not a separate definition of the whole locality.
For a geological or temple visit, ask the responsible caretaker about the current approach and any guided access. Leave rock exposures undisturbed. Other village appointments need their own address; the subdistrict reference point is not the temple entrance.
