About Khlong Daen Subdistrict
Khlong Daen (คลองแดน) is a subdistrict in Ranot District, Songkhla. Its best-known community lies where the Ranot, Cha-uat and Pak Phanang waterways meet beside Ram Kaeo in Hua Sai District, Nakhon Si Thammarat.
The canal junction and provincial boundary underpin the community's description as three canals, two provinces. Government cultural sources describe old wooden shop houses, waterside walkways, local foods and southern performing arts at the community-managed market.
The market is one destination within the wider subdistrict. Published government accounts give differing Saturday opening times, so confirm the current market programme before travelling. The canal-side setting is also distinct from the whole tambon's administrative reference point.
