About Khlong Noi Subdistrict
Khlong Noi (คลองน้อย) is a subdistrict west of the Chai Buri district-centre area in Surat Thani. Its local plan records ten villages and traces its separation from Song Phraek to 1990.
The Khao Ha Yot hills run along its western side towards Krabi Province. Streams named in the profile include Khlong Prap, Khlong Bang Hoi, Khlong Sok, Khlong Bang Pat and Khlong Nam Thun.
Rubber and oil-palm growing are suited to much of the local agricultural land. The council associates the name Khlong Noi with the many small waterways. This Chai Buri tambon should be distinguished from other Khlong Noi communities, including those nearer Surat Thani city.
