About Khlong Ya Subdistrict
Khlong Ya (คลองยา) is a subdistrict in eastern Ao Luek, Krabi. The Land Development Department places Khlong Hin to its south, Na Khao in Khao Phanom to the east, and Ao Luek Nuea and Ban Klang to the west.
Its six villages are Khuan Khian Thong, Khlong Sai Khao, Khlong Ya, Khao Kaeo, Pak Chong and Khlong Rai. These locality names distinguish destinations across an inland administrative area. The tambon's reference point represents the wider boundary, rather than a village office, reservoir entrance or a public trailhead.
