About Khok Khian Subdistrict
Khok Khian (ตำบลโคกเคียน) is a subdistrict in Takua Pa District, Phang Nga. It is separate from Khok Khian in Mueang Narathiwat, despite the identical English and Thai names.
University community research describes low-lying ground and hills, with former mine pits occupying parts of the flatter landscape. Rubber, oil palm and mixed fruit gardens feature in local agricultural livelihoods. The study identifies Bang Lan in village 6, while government budget records independently locate Thung Yai in village 8.
Include Takua Pa and Phang Nga in the address, then select the exact village or farm. Old mine pits and agricultural land are not automatically public recreation areas. Confirm local approaches and permissions rather than treating the administrative reference point as a visitor entrance.
