Maenam (ตำบลแม่น้ำ) is a subdistrict of Ko Samui District, Surat Thani. The district agricultural table identifies communities including Maenam, Khao Phaeng, Ban Thung, Don Sai, Ban Tai and Bang Po.
The government tourism directory describes Maenam Beach as a long sandy shoreline with residential settlement, accommodation and small visitor businesses behind it. The tambon extends beyond this single beach, and its Ban Tai community should not be confused with Ban Tai subdistrict on neighbouring Ko Pha Ngan.
