Mai Khao (ไม้ขาว) belongs to Thalang District, Phuket. The 2025 Community Development Department profile places it at the northern end of Phuket island, with broad plains and central higher ground sloping towards the surrounding coast. It names Tha Chatchai, Mak Prok, Mai Khao and Kho En among coastal communities and identifies Suan Maphrao among agricultural localities. The national old-community inventory also records the Pu Dam settlement within the tambon.
Specify the beach, village, accommodation or transport facility in the address: the whole tambon is wider than Mai Khao Beach. Coastal and operational premises have separate access points. The published administrative centre is not a beach entrance, airport terminal or village meeting venue.
