Nam Khao (น้ำขาว) belongs to Chana District, Songkhla, adjoining the Na Thawi district area to the south and Phatong in Hat Yai to the west. The district profile identifies farming as a principal livelihood and names Nam Khao Klang, Nam Khao Tok, Ton Riang and other communities. Wat Nam Khao Nai and Wat Nam Khao Nok are separate temples in the area, while Khuan Thong is identified as a historic site.
