About Pa Tong Subdistrict
Pa Tong (ป่าตอง), commonly written Patong, is a subdistrict of Kathu on Phuket's west coast. The municipality describes hills enclosing the bay on its northern, eastern and southern sides, with lower ground between the inland slopes and the beach.
Local communities include Sai Nam Yen, Na Nai, Ban Mon, Kalim and the beachfront. The administrative destination therefore extends beyond the sand and individual entertainment streets. Choose the actual neighbourhood or venue for directions; beach access, local businesses and activities have their own arrangements within the wider tambon.
