About Phela Subdistrict
Phela (เพหลา) is a subdistrict of Khlong Thom in Krabi. Its local authority describes plains and low hills associated with headwater streams, supporting rubber, oil palm, vegetables and other farming.
The nine villages include Phela Tai, Phela Nuea, Phru Toei Tai, Phru Toei Nuea, Phru Tiao, Bang Yai, Tha Ruea, Sai Thong and Khuan Sabai. Wat Phela, Wat Makham Kaeo and Wat Phru Toei are among local religious institutions. Phru Tiao village here is distinct from the administrative tambon named Phru Tiao in Khao Phanom District.
