About Sakam Subdistrict
Sakam (สะกำ) is a subdistrict of Mayo District, Pattani. Its council profile describes a lowland farming landscape, with rice cultivation and other agriculture supported by irrigation canals.
The council identifies canals through central, western and northern parts of the area, and Highway 4061 passing through its central section. These features give more useful geographical context than treating the tambon as a single roadside settlement.
The administrative area contains four villages and adjoins the Phithen side of Thung Yang Daeng District. For a farm or community visit, use the particular village and host's directions; the subdistrict map reference does not establish the location or opening arrangements of individual facilities.
