Sala Dan (ศาลาด่าน) is a subdistrict of Ko Lanta in Krabi. Its local plan describes narrow coastal plains, indented sandy shores on the west, mangroves along the east and a north–south hill ridge through the interior.
The province's community-tourism list places Thung Yi Pheng in Village 4 of Sala Dan. The tambon is therefore wider than the northern pier and trading settlement commonly called Saladan. It also remains separate from Ko Lanta Yai tambon farther south, although both occupy the larger island. Choose the actual village or departure point for directions.
