About Somwang Subdistrict
Somwang (ตำบลสมหวัง) is a subdistrict in Kong Ra District, Phatthalung. The municipal development plan lists seven villages, including Khlong Lam, Wang Tok, Somwang, Phru Na Dae and Thung Liap.
The plan describes higher western terrain around Wang Tok and Phru Na Dae descending towards flatter land and settlement farther east. Farming includes rice, rubber, fruit, coconut and vegetables. The municipality's local planning context helps distinguish this tambon from adjacent places in Mueang Phatthalung and Si Nakharin districts.
Use a village name and exact destination when arranging transport. Farm visits require an invitation or agreement with the individual host. Check local weather and road conditions for foothill journeys, and use a confirmed entrance rather than the tambon's administrative reference coordinate.
