Tha Ruea (ท่าเรือ) belongs to Ban Na Doem District, Surat Thani, distinct from same-named districts and tambons elsewhere. The 2026 agricultural plan identifies Pak Dan, Tha Ruea Nuea, Tha Ruea Tai, Thung Kha Yao, Khao Phlu and Khuan Thong among its communities. It locates oil-palm and pest-management learning activity in village 2 and mixed-farming learning work at Tha Ruea Tai in village 3. The name does not by itself establish a current public ferry pier.
