Thai Mueang (ท้ายเหมือง) is a subdistrict of the identically named district in Phangnga. Its local authority describes coastal land, plains and low hills, with rubber growing, fruit cultivation and fishing among local livelihoods.
The tambon adjoins Thung Maphrao to the north, Na Toei to the south and Bang Thong inland to the east. Khao Lampi–Hat Thai Mueang National Park has a separate coastal headquarters and extends across several tambons. This page concerns the wider administrative destination, with the town, beach and park entrance retaining their own distinct locations.
