About Thale Noi Subdistrict
Thale Noi (ตำบลทะเลน้อย) is a subdistrict of Khuan Khanun District, Phatthalung. It shares its name with the much wider wetland destination, whose settlements, services and visitor access points extend across administrative boundaries.
Provincial Buddhist Office reporting places Wat Thale Noi and Wat Pradu Hom in this tambon. The Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre's account of the wider Ban Thale Noi community distinguishes Wat Thale Noi in village 2 of Thale Noi from community locations in neighbouring Phanang Tung. The well-known place name therefore does not make every lakeside pier or craft settlement part of this tambon.
Confirm the exact pier, temple or village and its tambon when booking a boat or arranging transport. Ask the operator about current weather and water conditions. This administrative reference point is not a boat departure location, and the whole tambon is not described as a protected wetland designation.
