About Thanon Subdistrict
Thanon (ตำบลถนน) is a subdistrict in Mayo District, Pattani. The Land Development Department's dedicated plan identifies Ban Thanon, Ban Ku Bae Sa Mae, Ban Du Wa and Ban Thanon Tok as its four villages.
The terrain combines mainly low-lying land with gently undulating ground and some steeper hills. Natural and constructed canals support the agricultural landscape; Khlong Lang Sat is named among its important waterways. Current district reporting confirms Ban Ku Bae Sa Mae in village 2 as a living administrative community.
Use the village name as well as Thanon when arranging a journey, since the Thai name also means road and can produce unrelated search results. Confirm the approach with a local host after heavy rain. Working canals, fields and community institutions each require their own address and access arrangements.
