Thung Raya (ทุ่งระยะ) is a subdistrict of Sawi in Chumphon. Tha Hin's official geographical profile places the headwaters of Khlong Sawi and the older Sawi channel in mountains within Thung Raya, connecting this inland area with communities farther east towards the coast.
The Forest Industry Organisation also identifies Khao Mai Kaeo plantation in Village 4 of Thung Raya. This is a specific managed forestry site within the administrative area, not evidence that all surrounding land is a visitor forest. The tambon should be distinguished from the much larger Thung Raya–Na Sak wildlife sanctuary bearing the same regional names.
