Bang Non (บางนอน) is a subdistrict of Mueang Ranong. The municipality describes limited central flat land and steeper hills towards the east. Along Phet Kasem Road, former mining ground has left large water-filled pits within the landscape.
Its four villages are Bang Non Nai, Khao Phrik Thai, Bang Non Nok and Lum Than. These names help distinguish local destinations across the tambon, which adjoins the more urban Khao Niwet and Bang Rin areas as well as inland Had Som Paen. This page represents the administrative area, rather than a particular mining pond, temple or municipal office.
