About Chanae Subdistrict
Chanae (จะแนะ) is one of four subdistricts in Chanae District, Narathiwat. The local-authority office is at Ban Manang Kayang in Moo 3, while the tambon also includes Ban Chanae, Ban Ya O and other communities. The administrative subdistrict is smaller than the district that shares its name.
The terrain combines lowland areas with hills and cultivated uplands. Rubber, fruit trees and oil palm are among the uses described in the local profile, and streams help shape the agricultural setting. Neighbouring subdistricts include Du Song Yo to the north, Phadung Mat to the east, Chang Phueak to the west and Rom Sai to the south.
Use a specific village or institution when planning a visit or arranging a driver. The subdistrict reference point is not a universal town-centre destination. Local roads serve farms and communities; check access with your host, particularly where an itinerary leaves the main road or follows a stream-side route.
