Chong (ช่อง) is a subdistrict of Na Yong District, Trang. The local authority places it southeast of the district centre, on the approach to the province's mountain-side forest setting.
Khao Chong Botanic Garden is recorded in Village 7 of this tambon. The garden's institutional information describes land associated with the former southern forestry station and adjoining conservation forest between Ton Yai and Ton Noi waterfalls. The botanical garden and forest sites are managed destinations within a larger administrative locality, not interchangeable names for the whole tambon.
