About Chuap Subdistrict

Chuap (จวบ), also transliterated Juab, is a subdistrict in Cho-Airong District, Narathiwat. Ban Cho-Airong in Moo 1 contains the district office, making this the administrative centre of the wider district. The subdistrict itself extends beyond that centre into surrounding villages; its name is not interchangeable with the whole of Cho-Airong District.

The area's settlement history is linked to changes from waterborne travel towards roads and rail. For practical orientation, use Ban Cho-Airong or the exact named village, hospital or office when arranging a meeting. The subdistrict's map point represents the wider administrative area rather than one civic building.

Local transport and access are best confirmed with the institution or person you are visiting. Rural roads and hill approaches serve working communities, so an administrative-area listing should not be taken as an invitation to enter forest tracks or private land. Keep the Thai spelling จวบ available when asking for directions.
