Kapoe (กะเปอร์) is a subdistrict of the identically named district in Ranong. The municipal centre lies along Phet Kasem Road in parts of Ban Dan and Ban Kongsi, but the tambon extends beyond that small municipal boundary.
The municipality describes Khlong Kapoe as a local waterway used for agriculture and as a route towards the sea by fishing communities. Agricultural Extension records also identify an oil-palm learning network in Village 10. This page covers the administrative tambon, distinct from both the municipality and the larger Kapoe District; the three should not share interchangeable population or area figures.
