About Khao Mai Kaeo Subdistrict
Khao Mai Kaeo (เขาไม้แก้ว) is a subdistrict of Sikao District, Trang. Council planning identifies Highway 4046, the Trang–Sikao route, as a main road connection.
The SAC archaeological register locates Khao Mai Kaeo cave in the tambon and describes a north–south limestone hill with evidence of earlier human use. The community register separately identifies Ban Laem Makham in Moo 5, illustrating the wider administrative area's different local settings.
The tambon is distinct from Khao Mai Kaeo in Chonburi and Prachin Buri. Use the specific village or archaeological destination when planning an arrival; the administrative point is not the cave entrance, and an archaeological record does not establish present visitor facilities.
