About Khao Pu Subdistrict
Khao Pu (เขาปู่) is a subdistrict of Si Banphot District, Phatthalung. Its council profile describes mainly raised plains and hilly ground, with the Ko Tao side of Pa Phayom to the north and Trang's Huai Yot area beyond the western boundary.
The Department of National Parks describes the wider Khao Pu–Khao Ya protected landscape as part of the Banthat mountain system and an important headwater area. The national park spans several districts and provinces, extending far beyond this tambon.
