About Khao Pu Subdistrict
Khao Pu (เขาปู่) is a subdistrict of Si Banphot District, Phatthalung. Its council profile describes mainly raised plains and hilly ground, with the Ko Tao side of Pa Phayom to the north and Trang's Huai Yot area beyond the western boundary.
The Department of National Parks describes the wider Khao Pu–Khao Ya protected landscape as part of the Banthat mountain system and an important headwater area. The national park spans several districts and provinces, extending far beyond this tambon.
For a park visit, use the official park destination and its current notices rather than navigating only to Khao Pu's administrative point. The subdistrict, the named mountain and the entire national park are related places with different extents.
