About Khao Pun Subdistrict
Khao Pun (เขาปูน) is a subdistrict of Huai Yot District, Trang. The district health office places Khao Pun among the tambons extending into the Banthat hill landscape, while the cultural encyclopedia identifies Khlong Yuan as a local waterway passing through it.
Parts of Khao Pun lie within Huai Yot Municipality, which also includes the neighbouring Huai Yot tambon. Municipal population and town-wide facilities therefore should not be assigned wholesale to Khao Pun.
The Khao Pun SAO office is identified in Moo 4. Use a village or named facility when arranging an arrival, and include Huai Yot, Trang to distinguish this tambon from Khao Pun in Ubon Ratchathani.
