About Khao Wiset Subdistrict
Khao Wiset (เขาวิเศษ) is a subdistrict of Wang Wiset District, Trang. It is a smaller geographic area than the district and should not be confused with the similarly spelled district name.
The Land Development Department identifies Khlong Chi as an important local water source, passing through several villages after flowing from Ao Tong and Wang Maprang Nuea. Prince of Songkla University's regional collection also records traditions about the namesake hill and local religious history. Such stories provide cultural context and should remain identified as traditions rather than archaeological proof.
