About Khuean Bang Lang Subdistrict
Khuean Bang Lang (เขื่อนบางลาง) is an administrative subdistrict of Bannang Sata District, Yala. The Land Development Department places it southeast of the district centre and describes a predominantly mountainous area with some gentler ground towards the north. The Pattani River and Bang Lang reservoir are important parts of its physical setting.
The official village inventory includes Khuean Bang Lang, Santi1, Phakdi1, Chalong Chai, Phakdi and Da Lae Pae. Named streams include Khlong Chalong Chai and Khlong Tan Yong Li Pae. The tambon adjoins areas of Than To District and meets Narathiwat on the eastern side, extending beyond any single dam-viewing location.
Specify the village, reservoir destination or organisation when seeking directions. A subdistrict named after a dam is still a geographic administrative area; its general map reference does not establish the dam entrance, boat landing or permission to use reservoir land.
