La-Un Nuea (ละอุ่นเหนือ) is a subdistrict of La-Un in Ranong. Official local profiles describe forested hills with foothill and valley plains, crossed by Khlong La-Un. Its village communities include Na Yao, Bang Yuan, Bang Sang Tong, Wang Lum and Pak Phraek.
An older local-government plan covers La-Un Nuea together with Nai Wong Nuea and Nai Wong Tai under one service authority. Those are three separate tambons, so the authority's combined area or village total should not be assigned to La-Un Nuea alone. Use the individual village name to distinguish rural addresses along the valley.
