About Na Khao Sia Subdistrict
Na Khao Sia (นาข้าวเสีย), often written Nakhaosia, is a subdistrict of Na Yong District, Trang. Its villages include Thung Kae Choei and the Wat Na Pot area, each with its own community meeting locations.
The Rice Department records a coordinated rice-farming enterprise associated with the Khlong Nang Noi weir in Village 3. The Anthropology Centre's account of Ban Thung Kae Choei also describes the locality's farming heritage and community stories about rice and the origin of the tambon name. Those name traditions should be understood as local accounts rather than a measure of present harvest quality.
