Nam Chuet (น้ำจืด) is a subdistrict of Kra Buri in Ranong. Its name is also used by the local municipality, while the administrative tambon includes a wider set of communities beyond the urban centre.
Ranong's official education plan identifies schools serving Bok Krai, Plai Khlong, Bang Kung and Don Klang in Nam Chuet, alongside Kra Buri School. These names help distinguish destinations across the tambon from an address in the municipal centre. Nam Chuet is separate from neighbouring Nam Chuet Noi; use the full village and tambon when checking a rural location.
