About Phadung Mat Subdistrict
Phadung Mat (ผดุงมาตร) lies on the eastern side of Chanae District in Narathiwat. The local authority describes a landscape of plains and low hills with rubber planting, fruit cultivation and rice-growing areas. Highway 4115 provides a north–south route through the area, while the Bongo canal and smaller streams link its villages.
The subdistrict borders Chanae to the west and the neighbouring Ra-ngae and Sukhirin areas on other sides. Villages such as Ban Ri Nga, Ban Mo Ta Ko and Ban Lubo are more precise destinations than the tambon name alone. Use the full village address if you are visiting a household, farm or public service.
The canals are part of a working agricultural landscape, with access varying between public roads, village land and private holdings. Confirm the route with your host and ask about recent rain before using minor roads. The area's reference point is not a visitor entrance or the address of every local-authority service.
