About Sa Ko Subdistrict
Sa Ko (ซากอ) is a subdistrict of Si Sakhon District in inland Narathiwat. It forms part of the setting of the district's market town and the Sai Buri River corridor. The official Thai spelling is important: this is a different tambon from Sako (สากอ) in Su-ngai Padi District.
Si Sakhon municipality extends across parts of both Sa Ko and neighbouring Si Sakhon Subdistrict, so its boundary is smaller than the whole of either tambon. A provincial plan places the Talat Sako community beside the Sai Buri River. Beyond this market setting, a 2026 Livestock Department report documents a cattle-farming community enterprise at Si Bilo in Moo 3.
For directions or an official enquiry, give the particular community and identify whether the destination falls within the municipality or the surrounding subdistrict authority's service area. The administrative map point is a general reference rather than the entrance to the market.
