About Samakkhi Subdistrict
Samakkhi (สามัคคี) is a subdistrict of Rueso District, Narathiwat. A specific feature of its local development history is the Khlong Pa Cho To Da O water project, recorded by the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board at Ban Cho Kue Yaeng, Moo 9.
The project account describes requests made in 1999 and 2000 to address shortages of household and agricultural water, including dry-season difficulties. Its proposed weir, storage and pipe network show the importance of water management to the surrounding village communities. Historical design capacities and projected beneficiary totals should not be read as a current census or a guarantee of today's water service.
The weir is working infrastructure rather than a confirmed visitor attraction. If travelling to Samakkhi, arrange directions to the actual village or organisation you need; the administrative map reference is not the location of every settlement or the water project's entrance.
