About Su-Ngai Kolok Subdistrict
Su-Ngai Kolok (สุไหงโก-ลก) is a subdistrict within Su-Ngai Kolok District, Narathiwat. Its border-town setting is shaped by the river separating Thailand and Malaysia, local commerce and established municipal neighbourhoods. The subdistrict is one part of the district, alongside Pa Semat, Mu No and Puyo.
The town's built-up areas, municipal services and riverbank communities provide practical orientation, but the tambon boundary is not an arrival point in itself. Use the full address of a hotel, public office, station or other service when arranging transport. Names such as Sungai Kolok, Su-ngai Golok and Kolok commonly refer to this same town locality in English-language use.
If your plans include travel towards Malaysia, confirm the particular authorised crossing and its current arrangements independently of local town travel. For visits within the subdistrict, agree a precise meeting point and return transport. Riverfront and community areas remain lived-in working places, with access varying by the individual site.
