About Tanyong Limo Subdistrict
Tanyong Limo (ตำบลตันหยงลิมอ) is a subdistrict on the eastern side of Ra-ngae District, Narathiwat. Its authority describes mainly low-lying agricultural land, with homes distributed along roads. Tanyong Mat lies to the west and Chuap in Cho-airong to the east.
Rubber gardens, fruit orchards and rice cultivation are documented livelihoods. Villages listed by the authority include Ban To Lang, Ban Pa Phai and Ban Tanyong Limo. The local history explains the name through a Malay association with five phikun trees; this is distinct from the neighbouring Tanyong Mat name.
Use the village and full district address when arranging local transport or a visit to agricultural communities. Roads connect the settlements, but a map marker for the tambon is not the location of every village or public service. Arrange permission before entering working orchards, farms or community facilities.
