About Tha Maphla Subdistrict
Tha Maphla (ท่ามะพลา) is a subdistrict in Lang Suan District, Chumphon. The local municipal development plan describes a mixture of plains, low-lying areas and foothills.
The area receives water through the Lang Suan River system from the inland Phato catchment. Wooded hills and settled lower ground form different parts of its landscape.
