About Tha Maphla Subdistrict
Tha Maphla (ท่ามะพลา) is a subdistrict in Lang Suan District, Chumphon. The local municipal development plan describes a mixture of plains, low-lying areas and foothills.
The area receives water through the Lang Suan River system from the inland Phato catchment. Wooded hills and settled lower ground form different parts of its landscape.
Wang Tako lies to the north, Ban Khuan to the south, Khan Ngoen and the Lang Suan urban area to the east, and Hat Yai and Wang Tako to the west. This setting places Tha Maphla among several neighbouring communities; identify the village or named destination when arranging a journey.
