Thung Kha (ทุ่งคา) belongs to Mueang Chumphon District. Department of National Parks information describes the broader Thung Kha–Sawi Bay environment as an estuarine system of freshwater inflows, mangroves and tidal mudflats. The bay and national-park boundaries are wider geographic features, distinct from the tambon.
