About Wang Yai Subdistrict
Wang Yai (วังใหญ่) is a subdistrict of Thepha District, Songkhla. The local authority records eight villages and describes a predominantly rural community with farming and local trade.
Ban Khlong Yo, Village 1, is one of its communities. The council places it southwest of the district centre and records a local naming tradition connecting Khlong Yo with the yo trees grown around the settlement.
