Pacific Cross Health Insurance Thailand
Thailand health insurer offering medical and travel plans, online quotations, hospital-network billing and dedicated policyholder claims support.
About Pacific Cross Health Insurance Thailand
Pacific Cross Health Insurance PCL offers Thailand medical insurance and separate travel products for individuals and families. Its published medical range includes Standard, Premier, Maxima and Ultima options. The Bangkok head office is in Rajanakarn Building on South Sathorn Road; policy enquiries and treatment support are available by phone and online. Choose the actual plan, optional benefits and underwriting terms rather than assuming every advertised benefit applies to every policy.
Cover, eligibility and support
Select the actual medical plan
Compare Standard, Premier, Maxima and Ultima, including inpatient limits, room limits, outpatient options, deductibles and exclusions. The quotation asks whether outpatient cover is required; it should not be assumed to be included in every base policy.
Official detailsAge and underwriting
The long-stay FAQ advertises some new entry up to age 80 and renewal up to 99. The online quote form sends applicants older than 75 to +66 2 401 9189. These are enquiry routes, not automatic acceptance; request the exact plan’s age rules and written medical underwriting.
Official detailsExisting conditions and overseas cover
The provider says pre-existing conditions are typically excluded initially, with possible specific terms following underwriting. Its Thailand-based plans describe limited non-elective overseas treatment for up to three months per trip; elective overseas treatment needs separate consideration. Check the issued territory and endorsements.
Official detailsVisa-related enquiries
The quote form includes O-A, O-X and LTR filters. Tell the insurer your actual visa category and request the appropriate certificate and policy documents. An advertised visa option is not a guarantee that authorities will accept your individual application.
Official detailsNetwork treatment
Present your identity and insurance card or e-card at a network hospital. The insurer assesses eligibility and covered costs; you pay excess or excluded expenses. Cashless treatment can be refused, in which case upfront payment and a reimbursement claim may be required.
Official detailsReimbursement documents
The claims procedure asks for complete documents within 30 days of hospital discharge, including the claim form, original receipts, itemised expenses and relevant medical evidence. Use the servicing agent, office or registered-post channel specified for your claim and confirm any digital route.
Official detailsClaims status and treatment abroad
The myPacificCross Thailand app has a claim-history function. For emergency treatment outside Thailand, the FAQ describes reimbursement and asks for original medical receipts and treatment evidence; use the assistance contacts on your medical card for urgent support.
Official detailsHead office and telephone support
The office is No. 3 Rajanakarn Building, sixteenth floor, Zone BC, South Sathorn Road, Yan Nawa, Sathon, Bangkok 10120. Office enquiries use +66 2 401 9189, Monday–Friday 08:30–17:30. Customer service uses +66 2 401 9188, available 24 hours.
Official detailsBefore choosing a policy
Does cashless mean every hospital bill is covered?
No. Coverage limits, waiting periods, exclusions and the insurer’s assessment apply. You remain responsible for uncovered costs, and reimbursement may be needed if cashless service is not approved.
Is travel insurance the same as resident medical cover?
Pacific Cross lists separate travel products and medical plans. Confirm trip duration, residence, territory and activities against the named product; a travel offer should not be used to infer the terms of a resident health plan.
Can someone over 75 obtain a quote?
The official online form directs applicants older than 75 to the call centre. Ask which current plan, entry-age rules and underwriting conditions apply; an advertised upper age is not guaranteed individual acceptance.
