About Ban Khuan Subdistrict

Ban Khuan (บ้านควน), administrative code 910104, belongs to Mueang Satun District, distinct from same-named tambons in Trang and Chumphon. The national anthropology centre documents the local Ban Khuan community, its Malay Muslim heritage and a landscape of residential land, fruit gardens and rice-growing lowlands. It identifies the Duson–Mambang water system through the area. The school history also records cooperation between local community and religious leaders in establishing education here.

Use the village and institution name for the final approach. The documented village landscape should not be treated as a description of every tract in the whole tambon. The administrative map point is separate from the school, mosque, farm entrance or community meeting place.
