About Chalae Subdistrict

Chalae (ตำบลชะแล้) is a subdistrict in Singhanakhon District, Songkhla, adjoining Songkhla Lake to the west. Institutional research places Bang Khiat to the north, Pak Ro to the south and Ram Daeng to the east.

The municipality lists mangroves and a nature-study walkway, Wat Chalae and its museum, and Wat Phuttha Banphot at Khao Phi among local places. Health-service records identify five villages, including Chai Mueang, Chalae and Khao Phi. Each visitor site occupies a specific part of the wider tambon.

Check current walkway, museum and temple access with the relevant operator, especially after heavy rain. Use the actual entrance rather than the administrative reference point. Respect worshippers and working village areas when combining cultural and lakeside visits.
