About Don Sai Subdistrict

Don Sai (ดอนทราย) is a subdistrict in Mai Kaen District, Pattani. It includes Ban La Weng, where the sandy shoreline and adjoining wetland landscape are identified in the Department of Mineral Resources' provincial inventory. The tambon is distinct from other places named Don Sai elsewhere in Thailand.

The coast is only one part of the administrative area. Government forestry and agriculture records identify La Weng's community forest and coconut-growing activity, alongside village institutions and local livelihoods. The shoreline, forest and cultivated plots should be treated as separate destinations with their own access points.

Choose the village and exact place before arranging transport. Confirm beach conditions locally and avoid assuming that a scenic shore has lifeguards or is suitable for swimming. Farm, forest and community visits need the relevant host's permission, while wet-weather access to smaller roads should be checked before departure.
