Dongtan Beach

Dongtan Beach, หาดดงตาล, is a public beach in the Jomtien area of Pattaya. The exact beach profiles show the same palm-lined sandy shore and the large Dongtan Pattaya Beach sign beside the promenade. Rabbit Resort identifies its own beachfront location here as Jomtien, Nong Prue, corroborating the locality. The reviewed September 2022 photograph shows the beach-name sign, paved seafront and palms. It is an archive view rather than a promise of the current layout or facilities. The retained map point is a general beach reference; a second public-beach profile places its reference farther northwest along the same shore. Check current local warning flags, sea conditions and any water-quality notices before entering the water. An August 2024 Department of Marine and Coastal Resources report concerned a dated pollution incident at Dongtan in Bang Lamung; it is not a current beach-status report. A calm-looking photograph does not establish safe swimming conditions. Confirm chair rentals, facilities and the most suitable access route on arrival. The promenade and sand have different surfaces, and a verified continuous step-free route was not established. This record represents the public beach rather than a commercial beach club, adjacent hotel or the separate Dongtan Bay in Sattahip.
